Svx Poster
After paying $71.00 plus $6.00 shipping for the SVX poster on ebay I was contacted by the seller that she has access to more of them . Evidently a friend of hers who travels to Japan frequently found some and is bringing them back. She asked if I knew of anyone else who may be interested. I told her to give me a price for outright purchase and I would post it on the Network and the other SVX Club.
She agreed to sell them for $25.00 each plus fixed shipping of $6.00. It is certainly a better deal than the one I got! The following is the poster description that was on ebay and the photo of the poster: "This is a great looking poster that pictures the Subaru SVX PPG Pace Car. It is normal poster size and in mint condition. The size is 24x36" and is printed on heavy paper, not a light paper like other posters. It has never been hung up or used. No fade. Wonderful poster at a wonderful price, aside from the fact that I think the PPG Pace Car is is a hideous atrocity.

Agree with Aredub, nice poster but the PPG car, well, I always thought that purple was ugly. Just plain ugly.

Too bad the poster does not show the interior of the car. It has a custom console with a row of switches( I don't know what for, there was no one around to ask) and it's been redone in a lovely shade of hot pink. At least the console, and if memory serves( it was about 8 years ago) the rest of the interior below the windows.

The row of switches may have been to control the lights on the roof and perhaps also auxillary things such as brake cooling systems: this last feature was on a Honda Prelude Pace Car that was in the Australian GTP Cup (Evo lancers, 360 Modenas, Vipers ----- rich 8&^*^ playing with their cars!!!)

I haven't seen them for quite a while. The original that I had became water damaged and was not salvagable. Since then I had been on the lookout for another to replace it.
Imagine my joy when, at my surprise 60th birthday party last year, Larry III presented me with another copy of the poster. This one is very safe until it gets framed. They would pop up from time to time on ebay, but far less frequently now.
