Well dumb me, I bought my SVX a few days ago. It is a 94 L. FOr some reason I thoguht it was a 95, but it is a 94. Anyway the stupid shady dealer I got it from sold me the car with the tank on E, but the gas light was not on. I rant it to the gas station and filled it with 87. 14.4 gallons, $30 bucks.

Right now the check engine light is on and it seems to hessitate (SP?) when I accelerate from a stop.. well actually it always does it, if the ROM's are around 1K to 1.5K and I gas it, to go faster from a coast or something it hessitates a bit then goes. I will make sure to start putting nothing but premium though it. Wonder if I should drop some octain bootser in this tank as I run it dry?

The computer is pulling timing due to the low octane fuel. How much gas is left in the tank? I would considering siphoning the 87 out and refilling with 93 if you can. If not, you may try dumping in some toluene as a band-aid fix until you go through the tank.
