Hi Harvey. Very pertinent that you mention that the suction effect works best at relatively low rpm. The study was done on a Lycoming aircraft engine that operates at 2700 rpm. Its a monster of an engine. 360 ci, flat four. Anyhow, they only studied exhaust pressure behavior at around 2700 rpm. I'm really wishing they would have looked at higher rpm. Oh well. I might have to start digging into the journals at work. Mychailo
