What the best amplified Subwoofer the SVX?

Hi,
I'm just want to know what's the best amplified subwoofer for the SVX, like Basslink, Bazooka etc. Looking for something that won't take up much space, much power like 150w > and where to buy the sub.

By amplified subwoofer do you mean a Subwoofer that is already amplified by the factory? A little clarification may be needed but any subwoofer will do the trick. The new JL Audio GTO(I think it is called the GTO) is a top dollar and top quality speaker on the market right now.

I mean an amp with subwoofer in enclosed box or tube, which is good for factory system. Like Basslink and Bazookas are small and can kick some bass, not the bass that blow off your doors.

i have a Kicker Substation, which i like a lot, but the Basslink came out right after i bought it.

i'd say go for the Basslink - i had some Infinity Kappas in my last car and they were amazing speakers. the Basslink seems like it wouldn't take up much space, either.

my personal opinion would be to get a box, add a woofer and an amp, but if you insist on a pre-packaged unit, then Infinity has the sound quality edge of the products mentioned so far.

Just get a custom box for dual 10s and slap it behind the rear seat. Bracket it in otherwise it will slide all over the place.
A 400W amp is more than enough for some 10s. Go with Rockfords and maybe get a capacitor.

i think the whole point of the amplified tube is space. considering the SVX's limited storage space, why eliminate what little trunk there is with a speaker cabinet and amps? the "powered tube" style subs still allow you to have a useable trunk, and are easily removed if more trunk space is needed. they don't give up quality sound, either.

however, if you like rap and you're looking to shake the neighborhood with 4000W of power (and have me reaching for my gun.....), go with the components.

I'll agree with anything from infinity... Infinity is AWESOME!!!

My computer and surround speakers in my room are Boston Acoustics. They are amazing!! I love them almost more than I love my old Bose system. Check out Boston Acoustics website. They have a special design unique to thier subwoofers... Forgot what it is but it allows a small sub to travel longer, moving more air... The subwoofer for my surround system is one 6 1/2" powered sub and it does me just fine
