From the East Coast, it will be $750 to $950 to California. I have not been able to find a better price than that. That is why I have always driven mine home from where the car was. It was much cheaper. Time is a factor though. Ohio to home in about 2 days.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

I ship cars all over the country on a regular basis. Do not go with the "best deal". I have had my customers cars dropped off the truck and then they handed him the keys and told him it came like that (thank god for a bill of laiding). The car was totaled and he never got to drive his new car. I have had customers wait over 2 months too have the car picked up and then have it ride around the country side for 3 weeks.
I have had alot of success with two different shippers. They are on time and considerate with the cars.
For enclosed shipping I always use Big Sky Express. The owner and driver is Rock, his cell phone number is 908-400-1762 or go to the web site www.bigskyexpress.com He charges 1800.00 from the west coast to the east coast.
For open shipping I use State-to-State Transport. They have been great!!! They use 3 car haulers, so your car isn't getting moved around alot. They charge around 1000.00. Their number is 800-940-4065.
If you want some more numbers I have them. These are just the two I use the most.
