SVX gets hit

Hi everyone, I dont post often cause everything I seem to need is always answered by using the search.

I just got an estimate for the damages to my car and they gave me a figure of $6,162.00 to fix it I think that its a little high in price so im gonna get another one to compare. Just upset cause I really love this car had for 2yrs now and its my second svx. Its not driveable cause the tire I think is rubbing and makes a really loud noise, very annoying. Well pics are in my locker

Sorry to see the damages. Unless your wheel is bent, i think it's just some plastic part hitting your tires. 6k does seems high but if they do a good job, it's worth it.

If you were not at fault you could always collect the $6k from the insurance company and then look for a slightly better price.

hey james sorry to hear about the accident. Hope all works out for you. I just wanted to compliment you on those wheels. They look really good! What kind are they? Price? (if you don't mind me asking). Anyways good luck.

that is a shame.. sorry to hear about your car. you might want to go to other places to get second opinions on your car...good luck

Kelli

Mike's Auto Body on route 31 in Washington, NJ is the place i use to go to, i hear they do good work...but i have also heard complaints...but they are fair from what i have dealt with. i don't know where Long Branch is, but if it is close, you might want to check them out

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

a little high? for that amount of damage in that location i would not pay more than 3k. ive had worse damage than that on another vehicle that someone offered to fix for under 1k.
