I'm halfway done...I go to Temple University...If I woulda went right after I graduated high school, I would have been done this past May. Oh well. I'm not ready to grow up yet although I'm almost there living on my own and paying all my bills. Then again, I've been doing that since I was 16.

P.S. College isn't fun.

College Sucks!!!
I'm sick of these pointless classes and sick of paying for them.

You think college sucks. Wait until you get into the rat race called the business world. At least you have spring break.

Well, that's one advantage to being a teacher... paid holidays and summers off paid as well.

What are you guys talking about? College is a blast! Sure school work can be difficult and stressfull, but the weekends more than make up for that!

Garaged?

I think I might be concerned about something not addressed yet. Along with the rack and windshield issue. If it has been "garaged", why did it need a paint job. If you are really interested you might check Carfax for accident records. The Subaru paint is pretty damned good if taken care of as he has indicated. (well except for maybe a few plastic part areas). That might also be why the radiator was replaced when "not needed".

I would offer a max of 2000-2200 and not a cent more.

Stacey,
As promised, here's the link to the pictures of the local claret/black. I think you'll find it worth a second look.
Be advised: the hood and trunk stays/lifts/shocks/whatever are weak. The grill is there, but the clear plastic piece is missing. The engine sounds good.
The transmission has recently been repaired. I'm wondering if it was rebuilt, or replaced with a Legacy or something. There must be a reason why the FWD fuse is in place. I'll try to find out for you as soon as I can. Does anybody out there know how I can confirm that it's a SVX tranny?
Although dirty, the car is in fabulous shape for the money. Be advised that at the price you're willing to pay, you won't likely get a perfect car (unless the seller falls in love with your picture on your web site - I needed to know if Stacey was a boy's name or a girls name. ).

Spring break? I wish!
I spent the entire time studying and working. I support myself and FYI, I have been in the business world.

I used to have 4 days weekends. I made sure that all my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Guys, no matter what anyone of you says, college sucks! There is no such thing as spring break because teachers give you assignments and papers that are due as soon as you get back and you have midterms right before. I'm still saying being a teacher is an awesome job because you have paid holidays and paid summers off. So I have a feeling I will like having a job more than going to school.

Steve, how much would all that stuff cost to repair? How much does she want? You told me how much it was in the past, but I don't know if that's still how much she wants. Did you get to drive it? I'm trying to think how far away it is as well...I'm looking at 2 other SVXs, but the one is the one I wrote about on here. That guy is trying to find out about the windshield. I know I won't get a perfect car, but at least one that will run dependably and is somewhat clean.

Well, he is the 3rd owner (I ran a CarFax report) and so I'm guessing maybe the other owners didn't have it garaged. He said there were a lot of chips and stuff...I don't know. He said he had one accident; a truck hit the back corner end and that did come up on the report. It was nothing major. You are right about the paint job, though, although he sounds like he is meticulous with the car. The radiator was given to him by someone for free that works for Subaru...So I guess why not take something if it's free? Thanks for your advice.
