"I'll eat your children" was his popular quote, but I think even though it looked like Etienne faked it, Mike Tyson is getting back to his old style of under 1 minute KO's. Any thoughts?

i doubt it was faked, although it is always a possibility i guess. But mike tyson is in no way the same fighter he was 5 years ago. He's much slower and not as furious as he used to be. Granted he's one bad dude, but i think his day has come and gone. Kinda sad to think about. I really look forward to seeing roy jones fight, he's incredible and now that he's moving up to cruiserweight it will be very interesting.

I think it was faked. I never saw a fighter pull out his mouthpiece right after nis head hits the canvas. I been watching fights (boxing) for over 50 years. It's certainly gone down hill.

When he was trying to claim his back had been broken all through training and no one in the room would back him up kind of made me think he was lying. He's like i was training with frankie and you can ask him...anyone in here know frankie's last name...silence...i think that if he goes after lennox lewis again he will be embarassed.....again.

Plus, Etienne got money if he won or lost, so why take the punishment if you're going to get paid either way.

larry i have to strongly disagree with you. The sport of boxing has not gone down hill at all. The only difference is that the prominent most popular fighters give boxing a bad name. People who only watch these high profile fights think this sort of thing happens all the time throughout the sport of boxing, which simply is not true. How can you say boxing has gone down hill when many awesome fights have occured recently. The fight that comes to mind is the mickey ward/arturo gatti fight. Absolutely awesome. What has changed is people's interest, not as many people are interetsed in boxing, and if they are they're interested in the side show aspect.

The only Tyson fight I'd pay five bucks to watch would be one with Robin Givens.

The puzzling thing about the never ending dual freak shows of the "Mikes" Tyson & Jackson, is that there's actual "interest" in these two headcases. What it says about "us" is frightening.

I can just see the latest episode of Law & Order CSI.

It is titled, "Ron, the Rambler Rapist !"

It seems they find clues like a young deer sleeping in the forest on a box-o-wine. Other clues inlude an Edsel exhaust, a Corvair carburator, a Baracuda brake, a '56 Buick front bumper, and finally a Toyota 'tater'.

It should be noted that this is a 2-part episode.
