That's too funny. I noticed this the 1st night that the 5 speed swap was done. Glad i'm not the only one.

Talking Try this.....

When you move the change to the rear ash tray, try this.... With the 5-speed installed, rev the engine to about 3,500 and drop the clutch and floor it. See if the change will move it's self to the rear ash tray!!!!

Does anyone have any numbers to report? Specifically 1/4 mile times after the swap.

Talking 1/4 mile times

My 1/4 mile time after the 5 speed swap was 14.8 ran on the new G-tech. As some of you may know they are VERY accurate. That is the average of running it 3 x's . Not bad for only having the 5 speed as a performance upgrade.

On the other hand, it looks like you've found the perfect location for the Turbo Nitro Supercharger Boost button!

Guys, I have a question. Do you guys know how to launch the AWD car before you did the 5 speed? In my 92, the change never stay in that holder. If I do it right, the change do not stay in the holder in my 94 either.

Lunching the SVX is a little trick I picked up from the DSM guys. If you do it right, the car will launch nicer than stock. But you might find your tranny in your rearview mirror. In my case, I wouldn't since I don't have a rearview mirror.

Unhappy

Five speed conversion looks good.

Question: What happens with the Cruise Control with the 5 speed conversion?

Yes I also had the problem with the auto, but usually only at the drag strip when I was really trying. Trust me much worse with the 5speed, I don't even try to use it now.

BTW the cruise works fin as long as you hook up the right wires to the clutch switch.
