Question Price on 1 Spark Plug??

Help! I'm in a dilemma! I don't know if I'm geting ripped off or not.

Today I bought spark plugs from Pep-Boys. They are the same stock spark plugs that the SVX comes with.

They were $20 each!

Is that average?

I'm freaking cuz I see them on Subaruparts.com for like $10 each!
Are these the same exact spark plugs? (list price: $12)

They both have the same part numbers.

How much does the dealership charge per spark plug?

I really need some help, anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thank-you!

My 94 needs new plugs. I might just use the Borsche 4s this time.

Question I want to put stock ones back in....

Has anyone actaully bought and installed the stock plugs back into their SVX?

I would like to know how much they paid for each spark plug.

Thank-you.

I purchased the stock NGK laser platinum plugs. As I recall they were around $10-$12 bucks a piece. I bought them at Napa.

Post Deakership Price

Well.....I took back the Spark Plugs I got from Pep Boys @ $20 each....and I've just dropped my car off at Subaru for a tune-up. The plugs there list at about $13....but Kaye in the service department of Subaru of Jacksonville matched the price of Subaruparts.com @ $9.53/ plug.

Oh yeah...tune-up...and other "problems to-be" they found has made my grand total $1,250!

Well....I hope I don't have any major problems for the rest of my 3 1/2 years of college.

Get Copper plugs!

They last shorter, but offer better performance than Platinum plugs. I use NGK Coppers on my Legacy which are under 2 bucks ea. from NAPA.

copper

I use the autolite 3922(1 heat range colder for N2O use) at $1.09 apiece. I change them often, but I got it down to where I can do it in around 45 minutes.
