Legacy stereo pocket?

how much $$$ (part #, model year?) is the Legacy single DIN "under stereo shelf"? have the stereo out while MD changer is being repaired , and thought about putting this in. thanks,

GO to your local subaru dealer and ask for one. I was able to get mine free, after the parts dealer rummaged around a bit in the back room. They usually throw them away, when the customer options in the upgraded sound system. I wish the pocket were longer though.

You will also have to saw off the protruding screw holes on each side for a perfect fit(I did it with a pocket knife.)
