I remember driving home from Atlantic City in my 82 Supra. I was half potted it was 1:00 in the morning on a Sunday. I was on the Atlantic CXity Expressway heading towrd Philly.
I was doing about 80 mph & Rosie was asleep in the passeger seat.

A Porsche shot by me like I was standing still. The next morning I heard on the radio that Pelle Lindburgh, the NHL Phila. Flyer's goalie, put his Porsche into a stone wall and killed himself. He was returning from Atlantic City that night. His blood alcohol level was off the charts.
I think it was him in the Porsche that flew by me.

Larry, my good friend, what has kept you & I alive for all these years of common sense abuse? I hope we have finally mellowed out at our ages. I can only hope that some of the other younger folks here & everywhere would catch on earlier than we did. Life's a real crap shoot.
