SERIOUSLY O/T - Music in Mitsu Commercial

Keeping my wife happy is a good way to keep myself happy, and she's dying to know the name and artist of the song used in the new Mitsubishi Outlander commercial. Does anybody here know?

It probably doesn't have a name, yet. Based on the last two popular Mitsubishi commercials, it is a studio written jingle track. Don't worry, in a few months they will remix it into a song length single, invent a band name to market it under, and produce it to make a few extra bucks and to help with Mitsubishi sales through subliminal memory triggers... You hear the song on the radio and your mind remembers driving in a Mitsubishi and how nice it made you feel, even if you only saw it on TV.

Its a shame since there are so many bands out there with good music that Mitsubishi has to take professional jingles and turn them into one hit wonders and clog up the radio airwaves to make a couple extra bucks.

Doug, as a consolation prize, the coveted ¢ sign is available on both PCs and Macs. If you're a Mac guy, hold down the Option key and hit the 4 key - not the one on the keypad, the one above the letter E. On a PC, hold the CTRL key, hit the / key and the c key, and release CTRL.

Man... I have that cd... I wish they hadnt used that in the ad... now its gonna get all popular and ruin the song.

You can also make some interesting things using your alt key and your number pad. Try hitting:

alt - 1,5,5 to make ¢ next time

or for degrees (weather related) you can do like 10º (alt - 1,6,7)

Or some plain odd ones:

I prefer to use alt-248 for the degrees symbol ° as the alt-167 will usually put a line under the circle depending on the font used.
