need sun visor plastic piece

I need the plastic piece..call it a bracket maybe...that screws to the roof of the car that the chrome rod pushes into.

If anyone is scrapping a drooping visor please sell me this piece.

Thanks,
Mike

It's the passenger side--tan. I think both sides might be the same but I'm not absolutely certain. Also if I had to make do with a gray one the tan cover would cover most of the gray so I do think I could make do with a gray one.

Have a gray one, but give it a few days I'm sure someone has it in tan.

What would you like for it? I'd probably rather have it and be done with it. I could always change it again if someone comes forward with a beige one.

Re: need sun visor plastic piece

Do you happen to know the differences between years? My 94 lsi doesn't have that plastic on the rod. The metal rod of the sun visor (which is chrome in my case) just pushes into the plastic piece with the two screw holes. I just want the plastic piece with the two screw holes. Do you know if it's a different shape to accommodate the gray plastic on the base of the rod on the one you have?

Maybe they changed it be because they didn't hold up to well. This is the original OEM from my SVX built in '91. I just inspected it and it seems like that plastic is molded into place around it. It looks like it could be removed with some force but was not meant to be taken off. All the visors that I got over years all looked like this so I am surprised that the later years had a different design. Anyhow I would suggest waiting for one that matched what you have now. Sounds like even the rod is different. Maybe posting on the Facebook group seems like more owners hang out there.
