The 350Z looks like an Audi TT, which in turn looks like a VW BUG. There's just no originality any more.

look at the new rx-8. there's innovation. and the ford forty-nine coupe concept is stunning, as is the dodge razor, and the pontiac solstice, although upon closer inspection of the latter, it looks a bit amateurish...

the audi tt doesn't really look like a bug...

another stunning car...the chrysler hemi concept...awesome.

ever notice that new american concept designs are getting nicer than the ones from japan? everything out of toyota is repulsive, honda is boring as chit, subaru is, well, subaru...nissan is kinda boring, etc.,..

That 350Z really looks too much like an Audi TT. Now that I have my SVX, one of 2 cars on my MUST own list, there is only the 90's RX-7 to go. I haven't seen but one pic of the new RX-8, but it didn't impress me as much as I would like it to.

Personally, I liken the Audi TT to a modern Karmen Ghia rather than the Bug . As for originality in cars today. Its there, we just can't buy it in the U.S.

I wouldn't call the T-bird original. 4300 pounds of retro maybe. The mini cooper is anything but original. Its not nearly as innovative as the original mini still is!. No a clue on the new mustang but I'm guessing its still got a live rear axle just like the model T

Well out of these cars mentioned, I think the new mini S is a sweet car, it can do 130MPH and i just like old minis so it will be nice to see the new ones on the road in this country (usa).

I also like the nissans/infinitys they are cool but might as well just have a 300zx turbo. Cheeper and just as fun.

Your post could have come out of me!

Unfortunately, the new Mini is selling VERY slowly. It's so sad, people buy a POS focus, and leave the better by 150 times Mini to die slowly.

lol, oh, like the SVX!

The 350z is nice....but

I think I'll wait until 2005 or so when (hopefully) Nissan will import a real Skyline. AWD, twin turbo V6, drooooool. If they dumb it down though, forget it...

Of course, there will be no trading of the SVX.......

yeah, i cant believe anyone would buy a new Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Crystler, or such american/ GM product. Look at any BMW, Toyota, Nissan or yes even Subaru, they dont cost much more they drive 90 times better and last 5 times as long. Just look at the next 87 chevy you see. Or think about this, a year ago i drove a chevy camery and a ford focus, lets just say my 87 Nissan pulsar with stock nonABS breaks and original trany and engine runs and drives bout 60 times better, i am not joking.

YES!!!

The 350z and G-35 are what the SVX was to me 10 years ago. Great looking, high performance cars I couldn't afford new, but filed away in my memory for future purchase. I passed a 350 yesterday and that is one beautiful car! If it turns out to be reliable, then I'm hooked. I may just get a 2002... in 2012!
