Wired Handsfree kit that routes your calls through the speakers

Has anyone found a high quality handsfree kit that can be wired into the stereo via the rear plugs? I found one in UK LINK that seems to get decent reviews. You plug the connectors from this unit BETWEEN the head unit and it's plugs in the rear. So, all power and speaker inputs are picked up this way. Simple Plug N Play solution.

I don't want to buy a new head unit with this capability for all of my vehicles so hoping to find a kit that will supplement the existing head unit. All of my HU's are one form of Sony or another. But, if you have a good experience with a head unit with this feature, please pipe up.

Basically, my smartphone or my wife's dumbphone will pair themselves to this gizmo every time we get into the vehicle. The sound will come from the stereo front speakers and if possible, the sound will mute when a call comes in. Oh and the interface need to be a nice small size so it can be velcro'ed anywhere, even between the steering wheel spokes.

Granted, I know that the sound quality will not be as good as an OEM solution but at least we can aim high!

Let me know if any of you have any real world experience with any of the available kits out there.

So...you're basically talking about bluetooth...98% of headunits nowadays come BT ready.

EDIT: just saw you didn't want a new HU.

I have a motorola IHF1000 in my Audi, and given how it hooks up, it would work just fine in an SVX. You can have it go through the car's internal speaker(s), however I opted to use the speaker that comes with it. It ended up being louder and clearer than the OEM handsfree speaker system in my Audi. It works really well, too. Nobody complains about the sound quality on their end, and it sounds great on my end.

How hard is the hook up? Is it more or less self contained. I see a lot of parts and wires.would be nice to be HF in a state ( CT ) that fines you for cell phone/ texting while driving.
Amazon says no longer available .
