How to get out of or beat your speeding ticket?

As the title says, is there any chance??

There're some sites selling packages that help you to beat out your speeding ticket? Are they scam or are they really helpful?

Long stories short, I got a speeding ticket last friday night, at work. 50mph in 35mph. I usually drive like that or about the same for years in town. Never been pulled over or if yes for one time, the cop will give me a chance because it's not too much faster than the speed limit. And if they knew you're at work, you would get a chance.

The bottom line is I was unlucky that night. According to my boss and a co-worker, this cop is an a**hole. He will give his own mother or sister a speeding ticket as well. My boss actually knows some people in the sheriff office and thought he could help me get out of that ticket but after they knew it was him, they just said there's no way you can get out of it....

He pulled me over and said he caught me at 50 with his laser gun. I thought he would give me a chance or anything, and but he didn't. I told him I was just cruising back to the store and I didn't look much at the speedometer.....I thought he pulled me over for the lights burned out or something.....I didn't argue with him anything about the speed and I had the t-top off (driving the honda del sol) and it was like 47f temp outside and I didn't think I was going fast....

Is there any way I can win this case at the court?? Just wonder what kind of experiences do you have. Thanks.

What's to win? You were speeding, you always do there ("I usually drive like that or about the same for years in town".) and you got caught. Don't waste more time and money going to court. Just pay it.

I know.
I meant I always drive about the same "pace" and didn't get into troubles even there're some cops saw me before. I thought it is 'may be' ok.
Maybe 40 in 35, maybe sometimes 45 in 35, maybe also 35 in 35 or 37 in 35.
I just think that everyone (above 95% of pple) usually go above the spd limit. it's all depended on how much u go over. you're still speeding if you do 27 in 25. if you are doing 45 in 25, you're more likely to easily get yourself into troubles.

I considered myself as was unlucky that night...

Now just trying to see if anyway to get out of the ticket or win the case, if possible...

Like you may be able to challenge the ticket because not everything on the ticket or situation is perfect to the cop-side.

There is no reason to "fight" it. You said that you were, in fact, speeding. You're guilty, and the fine and points are your consequences. Sure, I speed, but when I get a ticket, I pay it.

If you weren't speeding, and the officer gave you a ticket for speeding, then you'd have a valid reason to fight the ticket.

You have a Chance to beat it in court. But I recommend you get a lawyer. Speeding tickets are actually relatively easy to beat in relation to other moving infractions.

Good luck, I can't stand cops. I think their cars should read "to tax and tariff", not "protect and serve".

check with a lawyer, I got a speeding ticket couple years ago, first in many years and first in florida ever I ended up paying the same amount as the fine, plus a small lawyer fee but there was no speeding ticket or points I do not remember what the lawyer called it but something about dismissing the traffic violation and just paying court costs, but as I said those costs were the same as the ticket. seems like just a money making scam to me but what the hell.

How do you really feel about this?

The best way to deal with this is to go to court and throw youself at the mercy of the court. The judge usually will reduce it, but not always. The points may be the same, but they will occasionally reduce it. There isn't much you can do. The sites that you mention are a way to get more money out of you when you are at their mercy. Pay what they come up with, or what is on the ticket and slow down. Good luck.

If the court is backed up and they don't want to wast the courts time, they may reduce it to failure to obey a posted sign. you may be right on that threshold you almost doubled the posted limit. Some days you loose, if the LEO is behind in tickets the give them out easier.A few years ago in my company truck I got a $125 ticket for rolling through a stop sign, seriously at 1/2 mile an hour in a line of 8 cars. Easy to do with a standard shift.

Go to court and tell the Judge' Yea, I did it, but didn't mean to'. Usually, the fine will not change, but the points could be cut in half. (BIG savings on insurance) That is your 'best' shot at this. IF you have lots of 'points' already, don't bother! (This works best for drivers with clean blotters)
