A candidate tried to crash our party this weekend
A guy running for Governor of Maryland tried to get into out 'PRIVATE PARTY' this weekend, and since we have no desire to mix alcohol and politics, when 75% of our 'guests' couldn't vote for him anyway,(since they were from out of state), we got 'blogged'!
I took the time to 'post' on the blog, the REASONS that he was not allowed to crash our gate. 36 hours later, not one mudslinger responded! I went back to the forum that we were 'blogged' on and posted THIS!! Copy and paste follows... Bill, Why didn't the mud slingers respond to my post about the Round up? Saw a lot of bad PR, but the artical in mondays paper didn't get mentioned. Over $380,000. GIVEN to ONE orginization! If ALL of our donations were represented, a number closer to $500,000 would be more like it. Not too shabby for a bunch of old fa...rts playing with old cars to help kids..... I have seen YOU there forever! Thank you! I would be willing to BET dollars to do-nuts that the mud slingers have NEVER been there! They just couldn't understand what it is that we do, nor WHY we do it. I take 'vacation' days from work and CHOSE to stand in the hot sun for DAYS, loading things that need 2 guys to load, choking on dust to provide as much 'entertainment' for the people sitting in the shade watching the 'show', then tearing the stuff down and hauling it back to storage. FOR FREE!!! For the 'KIDS'!! I HATE dirty politics! It seens like everyone had an opinion about the weekend till the 'FACTS' showed up.
