Anyone with a Structurally UNsound SVX?
Hey, i am Looking for a SVX that it is time to put out of service, I know this is as sore spot here, and i don't wan't to lessen the # of SVX on the road, but I am looking for one that it is no longer safe to have on the road........
I am really needing the EG33, and 4EAT as well as ALL the wiring from both systems, pulled professionally (ie, no cutting of the wanted harnesses, but with both ends of connectors, everything pulled that is attached (without connectors) to the TCU, ECU, EG33, or 4EAT) If anyone could point me in the right direction i would be pleased.

I used to ship SVX engines and transmissions all the time. It's not as bad as you'd think. engine goes on old tire, then onto pallet. The tire will help balance the engine because of the nature of the oil pan. Then just strap it to the pallet with ratchet straps. I used to shrink wrap them but you really don't need to.
 Back when i was doing it, it was about 100 to ship a trans and 200 to ship an engine. That was years ago, though.

I'd also be down for a Totaled SVX. Something that couldn't be put back on the road (rollover, or heavy structural damage)

The Western Pick-N-Pull yard in Salt Lake City (3300s. & 600 w.) has two fairly complete SVX's as of last Saturday-- a '95 and a '92.

I have one with rotted rails in the back, the jackstands are right now pushing up the floor in the back seat lol
