Cumberland on 'History' channel!

The new show, 'American Pickers', will feature 2 of our local 'Preservers of History' on Monday night, 3-8-2010, at 9:00 Pm.
Much to the dis-satisfaction of our local 'junk cops', These guys are going GLOBAL!
Bobby Twigg, of "Twigg's Used and Abused Cars and Parts", and Galen Bean, (a local collector of 'things'), WILL be featured on GLOBAL TV!!
I have had the 'pleasure' of knowing BOTH of these guys for over 40 years! BOTH are 'the salt of the earth'!
The only 'problem' with these guys is that they LIKE old steel and our local government does NOT!
They also LOVE our 'Constitution' and really like the part about ' Persuit of Happiness'.
It seems that the 'HISTORY' channel also 'likes' old rusty stuff!
I hope that THIS will HELP 'PRESERVE' what is left of our rusty metal, laying in places where someone that LIKES old stuff can FIND what will make them 'happy'!!

I should be sleeping now, but the Grand daughter that was ordered is due RIGHT NOW!!
I am waiting for a call from my son on the status of the order. I took the day off tomorrow,(tuesday), so I could 'kitchie-coo' the new Grand kid.
I might have to watch the show again to keep my mind busy till the call comes in.
This is Grand kid #6, but I still worry and wait.

UPdate. Daughter just told me that things slowed down, so I don't get the Grand daughter till tuesday...At least I'm 'off', so when it happens, I can be close.
