Emergency: Wire fell out of TCU (B68) Connector

G'day, I don't know how bad of a problem this is but I'm strapped for time and need to get this wire back in!! It's the Black/Yellow striped wire for torque control.

Does anyone know the correct procedure for fitting this back into the connector? I don't know if I have any of the correct tools for this, don't know if I need to get the pin out, I don't have an "Extractor" or crimping tool.

Can someone please get back to me ASAP

Thanks a lot, Jordan.

It won't stop you from driving it, just get a code.

Yes but the wire has separated from the pin (the pin is inside the connector plug). Do I need to get the pin out and re-crimp and then just push the pin (with wire attached) back in?

Yes you can release the end from the plug, with a small screw driver/pin from the TCU side, to push the clip down to pull the metal piece out.

Well nothing vital, just get no torque cut, just get a code.

Re: Emergency: Wire fell out of TCU (B68) Connector

I think I might just take the pin out and give the wire a little bit of a squeeze and pop it back in

So close to the end!!!

Thanks heaps for the quick response
