No.
SVX struts are unique.

Re: will these struts work?

This has been discussed so many times. You can only use SVX struts.

Re: will these struts work?

I recall seeing someone redrilling their strut tower to fit the other Subaru bolt patterns. I don't know what that does as far as structural rigidity and overall integrity are involved, but I'm sure it opens the SVX up to a world of options.

This still won't solve the fact that our knuckles are significantly larger than other subarus. They won't fit on the bottom either.

Re: will these struts work?

They'll fit just fine, provided you do the work needed to make 'em fit. If your asking if you can be a parts replacer then no, you need to do some work to make them fit.

Re: will these struts work?

ok, now that we have established the struts will not work, is there any parts that would be usuable on the svx? maybe rims/tires, cv shafts, sensors, etc?

Do you mean from a Forester? Not a whole lot will just drop in, most of the parts will require other things to be changed with them.

I've compared them. All other Subaru struts don't have swaybar endlink brackets on the struts like the SVX. The upper mount has different hole pattern and the raised section is larger on the Impreza struts. The knuckle for the Impreza is also thinner. It can be made to work, but is in no way a bolt-on swap.

Not the rims/tires, wrong bolt pattern and tire size. Not the rear CV shafts, not sure but unlikely for the front CV axles. Sensors, you'd have to check each individual part#.

Re: will these struts work?

Newer ('05 on ?) STi rims will fit, as they share our 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

I thought it was the older ones that fit. Don't the newer ones have the 5x100 bolt pattern?

No. The 04-05 STI has the 5x100 bolt pattern (well, guaranteed 04's, some 05's). Every STI after that has the SVX bolt pattern.

Re: will these struts work?

He's talking about a '98 Forester where the f%&# did STi come from.
