Anyone having trouble with subaruparts.com recently?

I'm not upset, because it seems to be a strange irregularity. I ordered a set of front brake hard lines nearly two months ago, and they have yet to ship. Since I wanted to get them changed before the end of August I sent at least two e-mails asking what was happening, and got no response to either. Now I've moved for school (the reason I wanted them before September), so I'm trying to ask them to cancel the order. I've bought plenty of things from them already which has all gone very well, so this seems odd.

Anyone else notice anything, or is it just me? I'm going to give it a little while longer, but if I don't head back by the weekend I'll call on Monday. (877-473-6200 works?)

they do tend to take thier sweet little time...you might want to print off your invoice and go to your local dealer to see if they will price match (mine did) and then cancel your order.

Re: Anyone having trouble with subaruparts.com recently?

My first order went smooth and quickly (some bearings and seals and such) but this last one seemed to take a little longer. I get the feeling that had I not sent an e-mail asking for shipping information on my order (which was never officially responded to) that the DHL shipment notification wouldn't have been e-mailed to me the next day.

I did call up there but she said the Subaru parts center had already left and usually are never there on weekends. (Apparently including Friday). So after 2 weeks and 2nd day shipping, I did finally receive my part.

I get antsy quickly.... if I don't have some sort of package/response after 2 weeks, I'm very likely to do a reversal charge. 2 months is ridiculous... I would have been a lot more pressing than a few e-mails if I were you though. I have no problem calling 10 times a day if that's what it takes... (although that's usually bad customer service in many books)

Re: Anyone having trouble with subaruparts.com recently?

They're slow. I've telephoned before, after a package of mine inexplicably sat for days in an Atlanta DHL distribution center, and got brilliant service (I think the woman's name was Trish), and a cheerful credit for the shipping charge. Now my account is tagged "UPS ONLY." But one might think it pony express.

They could take a bit more care with packing, too. I've had boxes arrive crushed like an accordion, the goods unsecured and rattling around inside. A friend recently had a taillight assembly for his late-model Legacy arrive with a small chip broken off one corner. He decided it wasn't bad enough to warrant the hassle of return.
