I believe ( and correct me if I am wrong) but I believe only the 2007 STi's had the 1.1:1 Which is why LAN was talking about using an 07 rear end with his built auto tranny.

LOL Don't worry at least that part is set. And we already talked about me coming to help this weekend. Worth the 1.5hr drive to help a fellow SVXer(well it will likely only be 1hr. *still drooling over the picture of the supercharger*

What's the going rate on a 6 speed? I'm debating whether to go with the 6 speed, or just use a WRX 5 speed. I may just go for the WRX 5 speed for now, and then later on when I have more $ swap up to the six.

I work every weekend... And I go to class during the week. Plus next weekend I'm, in addition to my weekend duties, working an overnight shift from Saturday into Sunday. No rest for the weary. My free time is pre-5pm Tue-Thurs.

Are you asking as far as parts go or parts and labor? You will need to spend about $840 or so to get YT's kit for a MT swap. Parts for a 6spd will run in the $4500 range or so depending on year and mileage and stuff. A 5MT with a WRX trans would be MUCH less. Maybe around $1700 or so if you really shopped around for parts. As far as labor goes ask either Tom...
