Damn, I knew I should have just paid in advance.
Ok, put me on the list when you get time to start another batch.

ran out of argon again But I am getting more tomorrow will finish off the batch. I have one snag though for the ones who asked for the CAI... I went and priced the HKS filters and they are $50 more a piece than I had originally expected. So, i got in touch with Dayle at Motorsport warehouse and he can get me the green filters at the price I expected to pay for the HKS... I apologize for any misguiding and if you feel let down I will bite the bullet and get you the HKS if needed... Just please let me know

Tom

Arrow Finalized design

Prepare for technical babble: The design of the intakes has changed slightly from the prototype on myxaplyx's car. The new version has longer primarys and meets with the MAF at it's factory location, so if you arent a fan of cone filters, you can retain the factory airbox. We also used a 45* elbow to help make installing the piece a little less painfull (But yes, it is still a tight fit) Also, now the drivers side primary runs UNDER the passenger side, not over it. This allows for much better clearances at the firewall, and no longer interferes with the ignitor OR the engine cover. Once again, if you prefer the stock look, the engine cover will fit. this is a direct replacment for the factory intake plenum. See images below.

You can see here how the ToMyx intake flows smoother than the factory set up. Gone are the dead spots at the throttle bodies, the accordion lookin thing, and the very sharp corner out of the MAF

Test fit in the engine bay. you can see there's plenty of room between the intake and the firewall. Just um, pretend thee's an ignitor there

As you can see, the engine cover fits nicely. If you a fan of things looking stock, you can see this hardly looks out of place

Too bad it wont work with a stage 3.... It would be interesting to see back to back dyno pulls with a stock intake and then with this intake...

I dunno if we are going to make many more... we finished this batch today and now need to wait on parts for the Cai kits. The problem here is the costs and time are way too high for the profit margin we made off of these. i doubt anyone would want to pay more for them either because they are pretty high in cost as is. We plan on making a couple more for the people interested in the 1st buy that I assumed opted out and still want them... Other than that, lets see if we can change prices on my end

I would buy one, but I can't afford one.
I know a lot work goes into making one and that is why the price is where it is.

I'm interested in the kit. Let me know how much it's going to be for one.

What are these things made of anyways? Sorry if you said before and I missed it. Do you have a jib you're making them on, or are you just sizing them up on a car and putting them together? Did you have to get special couplers to clear the close proximity of the throttle bodies?

they are made of mild steel as it is the cheapest and easiest material to make them out of. Yes I did have to order those couplers but its still a bit of a tight fit on the TB's. We will see how many of these we can produce and no, there is no jig its all on-car fitment
