...big useless wings (Unlike the big, usefull wings on gt cars) seem to automaticly denote lower than average car knowlege...Often intelligence as a whole. Discuss

Unfortunately id have to agree on this one sometimes its as a whole or just a lack of initiative to find out how things really work. Like when a guy tells ya he has 50 Hp over stock and when ya ask him how? He starts trying to do math. "Well the intake ads 15, the muffler another 20 easy, and all the stickers make up the rest". Some people just don't put any research into what there buying and just assume if it costs money it will gain you something.

15000 ever built huh? so i guess the US is the only country on the planet these days. I guess that's not an uncommon way of thinking for most americans, but still...

Other than that god-awful "wing" the car doesn't seem to bad. The wheels are nice, and certainly less excentric than what some others have on their cars. You don't really see the details of hte car though, under the hood, interior, etc.

The "Americans think they are the center of the universe" slam is getting old these days, coming from either Europeans or "entlightened" Americans themselves. (yeah, I know it's probably true, but still getting tired of hearing it repeated everywhere)

By the way, the guy selling this car is CANADIAN!

I have to agree. Usually when I see a big wing on a car like that, I can tell the driver is just a bit dimwitted.

I met at a mini meet at a burger joint once, and I was the only SVX there. The rest were impreza brightons and 1st gen legacies all with dumb wings and stickers. Most of them didn't know what an SVX was.

Then they all started telling me how I should mod mine. Wings, bodykits, RIAMS.

I was like: "Don't you guys know? You only have to 'mod' slow cars."

haha, thats what i tell all the car people in my town:

"she doesn't need a turbo kit to go fast, or a body kit to look good"

my car runs faster and looks better than 95% other heavily modified cars, let alone stock ones

My experience is that the way suggested modifications for my car go is:

1. Bodykit, comprising of all the usual useless stuff.
2. Rims
3. cold air intake+exhaust (cold air intake being the typical cone filter sucking hot engine bay air)
4. teh Turb0es FTW!!
5. STi engine
6. Headlights from something else
7. De-customize my strange looking custom windows

Never have I hear "Oh ya, before getting the HP numbers up you should probably look to upgrade the braking system.", or "You know, with some 17 or 18 inch rims you could run a much lower profile tire, and so have better handling."
