Hey Earl, how come you haven't painted one of yours that color yet? I know my old one needs a paint job.

I'll need a pic of a nice car, as my baby was side-swiped in a parking lot today, and I now have a dent from the rear driver's side wheel to the end of the car, just below the light, with the accompanying scrapes and gashes. And no note to say OOPS!; Sorry!; or Sucker! So no pics this weekend. Although the passenger side is okay...for now.

I think the Ruby Mica is a good choice...very nice.

And yes, "just" could be eliminated.

Cards are a great idea

I'm a latecomer to the thread, as I've had work to do the past couple of days that kept me off the Internet. These cards are a great idea. I'm in the Alfa Romeo Owner's Club of Southern California (AROSC) and we use similar cards, with a web address and the address of the president on them. We're only local, but they get us a few new members every year, to make up for the natural attrition that comes from no new cars coming in to build up membership enthusiasm. (We don't even have dealers anymore.) We actually designed ours to look something like a parking ticket. I'm not convinced that's the way to go, but the rest of the Board likes it and they do seem to work. I also like the idea of using a photo of a car in a color that was never available in the U.S., so as not to offend anyone.

John, I like both of your designs.

The pearlie with the "symbolic" mods is such a great picture and doesn't offend me just becuase I don't have a pearlie. That color is one of the iconic SVX images as they used it for much of the literature for release.

Love the Ruby Mica as well, such a great color. But I don't like how you have all the wordling on the front of the card. I still prefer your example several posts back with just the picture and "Nice Car/SVX" on the front, and then the Network logo and wording on the back over white background (easier to see on business card size and no clutter on the pretty picture).

Re: SVX invite cards

Holy old. Did anything ever come of these? I was thinking the other day at how much I'd love to have 10 of these business cards in my glove box for if I ever saw another SVX or SVX appreciator.
