The 4WS was only fitted to the 91-92 JDM top spec model - chassis numbers "CXD-00nnnn".

Interesting. AFAIK the Euro/Aussie model had seat heaters but the JDM did not. Are you suggesting that some cars have seat heaters but they are not connected? I'll go and check mine.

That is hardly an AWD system. Unless I am reading this wrong, can someone help?

Many items were options. My 92 JDM does not have a sun roof or four wheel steer. The latter sell very cheaply in Japan, as buyers a hesitant because of problems and as result they are a popular export item.

Not mentioned so far is my favourite. Coded door release. Great if you lock the keys inside, or want to get in when your other has the keys. Simply enter your pin, using the door latch as morse key and you are in.

The key hole becomes lit when the latch is lifted. Is this a JDM only feature ?

I can not fault the handling of my car, in fact the handling was a major factor in my choice. Based on the continuing comments here, I can only conclude that the US models have vastly different suspension settings. That said, I would dearly like to have a quick rack, so as to exploit the handling to the full.

Mine is completely unadulterated and based on my experience they are are different by being practically trouble free.

This is also a feature on the US market models.

I would really like the coded door release - that would be nice.

Do you have any more info on this, Trevor? I'd like to try it but I don't see anything about it in the owners manual - admittedly I am only looking at the pictures because I can't read Japanese!
