Scott,

I'd say riced eclipse fits the rice scene better than riced porche right? I can stand riced eclipses. Want to know what I can't stand? Celicas. It's like the designer went retarted or something.

Okay, we all know what everybody thinks. Let's not let things get nasty. Let civility and cool heads prevail.

Thanks

ok....i quit.

"As for 'one opinion is enough,' you don't get to make that determination. You can't come here, ask us our opinion, and then expect us to hold our tongues (or fingers) because, 'oh, his pre-set opinion limit has been reached.'"

Who the hell are you to being saying this? You all whine about this and that constantly. Your opinions change like the wind, I mean, you sound like a bunch of nagging old women. And you say I just come in here like I just joined the club the other day....I have been a part of this little internet svx thing for a few years now so I don't think that classifying me as a newbie is right. All I am saying is that I take the good with the bad but it seems as though you have taken it very personal that I have riced out my svx. GET OVER IT. Seraph, this is not really meant at you so take no offense. Randy, thanks for the intervention, I will shutup now. God forbid I go off and act like a 22 year old. Although it seems that the majority of the people that continue to offer their repetitve negative comments are rather older and reluctant to accept changes in style. Sorry Randy. You are still the man!
I have given my last comment on this subject, but I am sure there are many more to follow seeing as how there are no rules saying one cannot post as many replies to one subject that they want to. Sorry to hear that some people need written rules to govern them as to when enough is enough. Next time I will clarify that when I ask for an opinion, I ask that everyone give me ONE and have that ONE stand as their judgement, not one every other day and picking out new things to hate on. LoL.....this is a joke!

WHOA

Relax man, these guys are cool, but just like you getting offended when they don't like your car, put yourself in their shoes...they are as proud of their STOCK SVX as you are of your MODIFIED SVX.

The only thing that's a joke is that you asked for opinions, and now you're all bent out of shape over the ones you got.

Don't let us 'old women' ruin your day, Dan. Go enjoy your car any way you want.

JESUS PEOPLE RELAX.

Danny, your car looks really cool. I dont give a **** what any of these people say. I personally dont like the bigger wing and the yellow paint but that doesnt mean the car is not awesome.

You did a good job at taking a great car and making it better for you. Although the wing is a bit big and the paint is bright no one on this site can doubt that it is well put together and well done.

Your car looks clean kid, good job.

As for the rest of you, stop acting like retards and show a little respect.

LoL.....this is a joke!

Danny,

I don't personally care for what you did to the car and that is NOT even important. What you did was because you liked it. Do what you want because you want to. Don't let other people govern who or what you stand for.

All that matters is that you have the bigest baddest SVX on the Planet. Who gives a S**T what anyone else thinks.

Keep it up.

Ciao

This thread reminds me of the ensuing conversation after the wife asks the husband, "Honey, does this dress make me look fat"?

My opinion - Styling modifications done to a car that was originally designed to be appealing due to its radical styling are a tad unnecessary. However "necessary" & "appeal" will generally break down along the generational lines of those under 40, & the rest of us. Being one of the rest of us, I marvel at the sight of a totally stock, mint '65 Mustang, rather than one that's got scoops, wings & trick paint. BUT -I've got no ax to grind with the "mod guy", It's just that I feel that there's one less "true" Mustang out there. Since the SVX was a limited edition vehicle to begin with, everytime I hear about another "total" being parted out, it means one less "true" SVX exists. Again, I guess it's a young guy/old guy thing. Today, when I see a sweet young "thang", all loaded down with pierced bod-parts & tattoos, I truly cringe. I guess it's all in interest of "style", but I wonder how the style's gonna' look when she's 50 or 60. However, if Ann Margret has a hidden tattoo somewhere, well.... it's all forgiven. I prefer stock, but there's always the exception. Enjoy what 'ya got, Danny - it don't last forever anyway.

Ron.

Make sure you stop the meter before it milks your wallet for more badly spent money.

well, wasn't that some battle.... what ever we do to our cars is our choice. just because someone wants to put on a supra wing and another doesn't, it doesn't mean anything. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T DO IT TO YOUR CAR. so dan desided that it would be a good idea to do this to his car, i like some of it, but other things, well, it ain't my car.

dan, you need to stop getting all defensive. if you are 'brave' enough and proud enough to come on here with those pictures and ask for everyone's opinion, then you should have enough pride not to get your feathers in a turby when people do not like what you have done. if you have been here for a while, you would know that a lot of the people here like their subie stock, totally stock. so the replys should not have been a surprise for you.

cars are cars, mine in particular would never look like that, but that is my personal choice. what ever else you do to it, if you can't take the opinions of others, well, don't post it, and your problem of people replying more then once will quickly be resolved.

i don't mean to be sounding snotty, i just think that you should have thought about the reactions that you might have gotten before you posted and whether you would be able to handle them. you shouldn't get all mad about it, they are just other people's opinions. so what if they don't match yours, that is why we live in a free country. keep doing what you are doing if it makes you happy. don't worry about someone else's opinion.

Kelli
