Supra Land? Looked like an RX-7 site. Man they were brutal!!!!! There were some really god darn fast RX-7's. Of course Mazda got behind the RX-7, and Subaru never got behind the SVX. Imagine a twin turbo, true duel exhaust, 5 speed HD tranny, 350+hp SVX like the RX-7 R2. Plus what was that New Zealand idiot talking about, 11.12 seconds 0-60?! What, in reverse????

Dan
Owner of the never understood, usually misrepresented, and thoroughly disrespected SVX

Wink

Comments like these remind me of the blind men describing an elephant.
So does anyone here still wonder why we're nuts over our heavy, slow 226 HP V6 funny windowed "sports" cars?
HAH! Ron.

My neighbor's son-in-law has the last turbo Supra. He parks it across the street from my house. His car has the Supra high rear spoiler. I parked Subydoo next to the Supra once. It was rather obvious that the Supra was more "sports car". The SVX was more "luxury sporty car". His Supra is more like a 2-seater. Our SVXes are more 2+2.

Did I mention that his Supra is bright red?
Also, he keeps his car immaculate.

You guys ain't got nothin' on me!

Besides the SVX and the Volvo at my house:
1) a brand spankin' new Intrepid and a '94 Galant right next door.
2) across the street is a ex-postal Cushman three wheeler, some kind of old Buick, some kind of old van, and some kind of old truck (but I think the truck's on blocks, and I haven't seen the van run for a couple of months)
3) next to him is a '69 Camaro that was pushed under the car port about six years ago and hasn't moved since, but it's sure precious to the owner, and some kind of Cougar
4) and across the alley there's another van of some kind and a real Harley (!)

Drop by any time and I'll show you around.
