WTB: SVX engine

I'm looking to buy an engine for my 92. I have a rod bearing failing and am going to need to replace the motor. The closer to Akron the better and preferably 500 bucks or less. Thanks, Jason

Good luck, Jason.

How did you know you have a bad rod bearing? Sorry to hear that by the way.

Trust me my friend, When you have a rod bearing going you know it. I can hear it knocking in the oil pan while under the car and it's quite audible when the car is started cold. I found a motor for 350$ with 120K miles on it, Now I just need a place to do the swap at and some help. Things are kind of up in the air right now with Reading so close, So I'm still trying to figure out what I'm gonna do. Chances are I'll say hell with it and drive it to reading knocking and fix it a few weeks later when it warms up outside and I can find a place to work. If anyone has a similar motor for cheaper or something, Feel free to still let me know about it. Jason
