All the times I have stalled has been due to low electrical current at idle, but I attribute that to the underdrive pulley, and maybe a slight short in a taillight.

Myxalplyx just installed an underdrive in his 96 SVX.

anything is a drag car. There are 11sec. minivans for Pete's sake. Why do you always doubt the unexpected. It's not always about being fast... it's about being faster

The main part of dragracing is not to be fast but to be consistent.

Can't be consistent with a 5/6MT.

a lot to learn about what?? Listen, these cars are my passion. I enjoy building them within my own means and then racing them for fun... Don't see me trying to race for slips Don't see me searching for sponsors. You have got to learn that no matter what you say, we will still race our cars... not because they are competative but because we like it. So, stop doubting and open your eyes, I don't want to compete with other cars, I compete with myself... along with a few others on the board, but it is all in good fun. And if you missed it I will say it again... It is all in good FUN. Maybe that will clarify your warped view on SVX motorsports.

your right its not worth arguing,

going to the track is fun , go out and see what it does but dont complain to every one it breaks down like in this thread or the tranny goes out,

i cant open my eyes to a 15 second car no one will, but if you wanana go and see what it does no ones stopping you, race it till the wheels fall off racing toyota corollas and honda accords .

the rest of svx owners will Appreciate the rarety and clean lines of the svx and enjoy it for being a rare and comfortable luxury car,

if you wanna see what it will run for your own curosity go forit if your going to impress any one or taken serously then your wasting the tracks time and people like me waiting to run,

i think its awsome what you have done to your svx, you have some credit from me for even tackling such a challenge,i hope the best for you on putting some solid numbers down,

im not going to make you change your view on the matter just trying to show you the bigger picture on things, what the real world see's and i know your not trying to convence any one its fast well im hoping your not and i hope your doing it for your own reasons

you have no idea what your talking about, sorry. Ive worked on pretty much every single one of those cars on that list FI upgrades, fuel systesm, tuning, etc. and i dont think you have any idea what my car is capable of. And i garuntee im thousands upon thousands under what you have paid out of the box for your cramped little tunabox.
