By early Fall, I hope to have the STI/SPT pink sport springs that are designed to work with the stock shocks. It'll give the car a nice 3/4" drop and firm up the handling even more (spring rates are approx 223lbs front & 195lbs rear).
i have some iON Performance springs sitting here in a box. they are also just a 3/4" drop, because the crappy roads around here wouldn't allow much lower without tearing the car apart.

The aluminum pedals aren't high on my list, but I'll probably get around to them sometime. They are pretty cheap.
makes a good cheap n' easy winter project.

I won't be getting an oiled filter - I'm looking only at the thick woven oiless cotton ones such as the Blitz and STI panel filter. I'm not getting one just yet as I want to see what she'll do 100% stock come March.

i would never use a K&N or other oiled gauze filter. the oil the Perrin filter uses is very thick and almost "grease-like" - i have checked the airbox, and there is no residue in there. it couldn't foul the MAF, but flows alot of air and filters better than a K&N-style filter. here's a comparison of a K&N and an AMSOIL (foam) filter:
http://www.gadgetonline.com/AirInduction.htm

from Perrin's site:
The PERRIN Performance "Open Cell" polyurethane foam is saturated with specially developed filter oil. This filter oil clings to the strands of the web-like cell structure of the foam. The oil is now suspended directly in the path of the incoming air charge.

As air passes through the filter, dirt particles cling to the oil and remain as the air passes unimpeded into the engine.

The entire volume of the filter is a working surface. As the outer strands become loaded with dirt particles, the inner wetted strands begin trapping dirt, allowing the entire thickness to be utilized.Without the surface loading seen in other filters, foam filters maintain 90% to 100% efficiency even as mileage increases.

When the filter is sufficiently dirty, it can quickly and easily be cleaned, re-oiled, and ready for re-use.

People who've bought the Perrin filters seem to like 'em. I'm not going to buy a filter anytime soon as several tuners have mentioned that the stock airbox isn't a restriction until 300+whp.

Maybe by the time I go Stage 3 with the STI VF-39 turbo, I'll get a higher flowing panel filter. For now, I'll stick with OE or maybe switch to a Wix.

To stay D-Stock legal I'm not getting an accessport until I go Stage 3 hopefully in the late Fall/Winter. I'm still enjoying my car in its stock goodness!

yeah, enjoy it for what it is for a while. you can, however, flash from Stage 1 to factory map in a matter of minutes - no interference with the D-stock rules - then back to stage 1. if i need to take it to the dealer, its getting flashed back to factory map.

there is also an "Economy" map if you ever go on a long trip and want to save a few bucks.

I used a K&N in the SVX and I have one in the Pathfinder. Of course I haven't cleaned it in the 2 1/2 years it's been in there.

I put it in shortly after buying it in 2003. In that time I have yet to put 10,000 miles on it. I think I'm at around 9,200 or so.
