Transfer Clutch Plate Clearance Needed ASAP

Could someone please look in their official subaru svx service manual and tell me when the specs are to determine what transfer clutch pressure plate I need. I am trying to get this done tonight

I'm not sure but I don't think you know until you take it apart.

Compare what you have with the thicknesses listed on Subaruparts:

you mean the thickness of the pressure plate? That doesnt help me. I just need to know how thick the gap from the pressure plate to the snap ring is supposed to be. Mine is a littlle over 1mm

This is a bit iffey Dan, but the Limited Slip clutch that my Aust car has, 1 plate less than the Transfer clutch, that you have. WSM has the clearance as 0.2mm to 0.6mm, with 1.6mm as the allowable limit. As yours has the extra plate, the 1mm you have may be OK.

Harvey.
