I went to Pittsburgh yesterday to All Foreign Auto Parts and got my outback tranny and rear diff for a grand total of 450 bucks. 3 month warranty and 122K miles. Not too bad and it serves the purpose. That killed the funds heavily, But I should still have enough to get rid of my front cats and put on a magnaflow main cat. I'll keep this updated as to what parts I collect from now to then and on how it goes with the job and the improvements I see(Plenty I'm sure) I can't wait for the 4th.

That's a great deal Jason. Get your 2-into-1 magnaflow from:

www.performancepeddler.com

Give them a call directly, tell them the SVX Network sent you and they'll give you a huge discount.

This one ran me ~$60-65!

Tom put me on to them a few days ago. I'm waiting to order till I see what kind of money I have left from all the fluids and gaskets and some bills needing paid. Just want to make sure I don't screw myself and can pay Tom. He'd probally beat me up and take my car and my beer too if I couldn't.

The magnaflow cat is great. Tom put one on my 96 last weekend. He plugged the O2 sensor hole and he welded a bung into the side of the new exhaust pipe, directly behind the cat, to make it easy to service.

I will be coming up on Monday, Feb. 6th, just after you leave. I'm going to have him put on my Receconcepts dimpled/slotted rotors and new Akebono ceramic pads all around.

He has a new resonator that I got from Motorsportwarehouse. If he doesn't use it on his S/C claret, maybe he could use it on your system (unless you go duals all the way)

Yeah, I think we were gonna use it on my system. He told me about it and I told him that sounded sweet to me. I can't afford to go true dual right now, But maybe someday. Shame you can't stop by while I'm there. I'm always up for meeting other members. Good luck with your mods. Jason

You won't be disappointed by the magnaflow exhaust. I love mine. It's so subtle and has a burble almost like a g35/350z.

It's quite close to stock with a more refined tone and once you romp on the gas the beast awakens

I hope I get lucky enough to have enough money to do it. I'm damn near broke already. I just went to advance and got the 15 dollar mod, 10 Q. of maxlife dexron/mercon, and 2 bottles of 80W90 valvoline high performance gear lube and 1 bottle of lucas 80W90 gear lube, and the internal filter and gasket. 92 BUCKS! I'm working on it though.

Jason,

You'll want the muffler that has a single 2.5" inlet and dual 2" outlets. It should be listed as a Camaro muffler.

Ok. In a few minutes I'll be ordering a new pass. side ball joint, new end links, my exhaust, and probally a set of energy suspension sway bar bushings for the front and back. So let's see if I got it all. It GO's, It stops<(still working on this), And it HANDLES. Yep, I got it.
