should be better than PB blaster

I was doing some research today trying to find a dry lube suitable for bolts operating at 600F. I came across a lubricating material called Cerflon. Its some sort of fusion of PTFE and boron nitride. Not sure if its just a mixture or there is some bonding at the molecular level. Anyhow, if you believe their test data, this stuff kicks butt over all other previous lubricating materials. Seems that Gunk will start using it in an updated version of Liquid Wrench.

Here are the comparison data:

The new liquid wrench ought to make for a great general lubricant. It seems that Liquid Wrench is also making a dry lube in an aerosol. I just did a bit of searching on the net, and Cerflon is starting to pop up in several products. Some are claiming that the stuff bonds to metal, but I haven't seen that statement on the Cerflon website.

It sounds like a great product. I will keep my eyes open for it.
