Hot Foot
Is there anything that can be done to get the heat to stop blowing on the drivers side floor area?

Turn off the heat when you get too warm?
Or, fab up a dual climate control system and turn your side off.

I believe the flapper stays in the last position used.
If I need it to free run thru the vents, i turn on the vent, and then turn the system off. I get air thru the vents. If I was using the heat last, then if the system is turned off, it runs thru the floor vents. Anyone else notice this?

Mabey mines broken or something, but when the heat is on auto it seems to also come out the vents. Actually, when my heat is on I get a cold air spot right on my right foots toes...seems like its coming from at the top of the gas pedal. Id say its a huge leak or something, but it only does it when the heat is on.
and yeah, I noticed the flapper thing. my caddy did the same thing

I had the same issue...but found that if I click to "off" AND then click "recirc" it shuts off the floor air. But apparently only for a while, every now & then I need to do it again.

Use the defroster.
When it gets really cold up here, the heater will actually blow both to the floor and to the windsheild. I don't use the heater unless it's below 30* so ... iunno.
