How much should I ask for my 92 LSL?
My buddy's selling a beautiful 2004 WRX that I really want and I was just wondering what I could get for my SVX to help pay for it. It's a silver/black 92 awd, 87k miles, Comp T/A's with 80-90% tread, huge tranny cooler, new brakes, all speakers upgraded, new (and very nice) cd player, and everything works. However, there is a very random studder while driving which I'm guessing is the tranny. I paid $3,500 for it, think I could sell private party for that much? Pictures are in my locker.

With 87k, if it were my car and no weird performance mods were done to it, I'd let it go for 5 minimum.
If I were on the business end of the deal, I'd be willing to pay 5k for a nice looking silver (:

Oxymoron??
Isn't "beautiful WRX" and oxymoron? I think $3500 is a reasonable price that you should get without to much trouble if you are willing to wait. I do not agree that it is worth $5000 based on your description.

I would agree. $3,500 would be the price I would think is fair without looking at it. I also agree that $5,000 is way too much and you would probably not get that for it. I would keep the SVX instead though. That is just me.

You might want to wait for an opinion from someone with less than 7 running SVXs.

SVX's are heavy, slow, and unreliable. I love the looks and rarity of the car, but I need something newer. I drove his wrx last night and fell in love.
