Outside mirror differences
On my 94, the mirrors fold back for ATM access, etc.
They don't fold back on the 92. Are they suppose to and are just both frozen, or is this fold back feature a later year thing?

They fold both forward and back on my 92.

As far as I know, they all fold. Maybe they are just stuck.

Thanks guys. Yeah,,,, they must be frozen. Crazy that both of them are. I could use the ones off the 94, but they aren't heated I don't think. I'll have to check. I don't need the heat..... Just trying to stay vaguely original.

All mirrors on all cars are supposed to fold in some way.
It's for shipping purposes mostly and some automatic carwashes require it.

Yes all SVXi. I know for a fact some 90s GMCs don't, my buddies 300zx doesn't...
Iunno but I guess if you had power folding mirrors and the motor didn't work they would not be folding. Then again it's not like you'd damage the motor by forcing it.

I just figured they'd be like the mirrors and go CLICKCLICKCLICK when you try to force them in place.
