Just wanted to say "howdy" and welcome to the SVX World Network!
As you can see from the thread "High Speed Chase", we've been following your Dad's car story and feel really sorry for what happened. You'll find all sorts of great people here from all over. Many of them are extremely knowledgeable and could possibly help in either getting your Dad's car fixed and back on the road, or else finding another one. Other folks are like me - I love driving the car but leave the mechanics to the experts.  I'm just good at breaking them   or being in the vicinity when something major and expensive goes kaputt. But it's never really my fault... really! Great to see you here!

So the guy crashed through fence, but was there anything keeping the car from being drivable?
