Center Grill?
Has anyone ever tried experimenting with other subaru grills to see if they can be modified to replace the waterfall? I have been looking at (90-91) Legacy turbo, impreza (97-01), and even 92 Loyale grills thinking that they might fit with some modifications and I was just wondering if anyone out there had tried?

How about using the '96-'97 SVX grill? Its not waterfall.

UberRoo has done some experimenting on a custom grill. Check his locker, he may have some pictures of it there. Good luck.

It's made from a $1.95 gutter guard from a hardware store and some black spray paint. It's easy to make, but it's hard to make it look good. Buy a few of 'em and practice. (They're cheap enough.)

I know about the 97 grill does anyone have one they want to sell me? I also know about the smallcar drilled hole 145 + 22 shipping + painting to match. i even saw uberoos grill and printed out how he did it, but i was wondering if anyone has tried to modify a cheaper easier to get grill. like maybe theres a grill with nearly same dimensions same plugs on bottom and someone could do a write up on how to install a legacy grill or something similar to that.
Oh and i like uberoos grill but I kinda want something with a border no offense I like that grill but its just not what I want. So has anyone experimented with other grills or not?

Ha Ha I havent tried anything yet, but I am going to if I cant find anyone else who has, I quess I will have to pioneer that road and let you guys know if it worked out or not.
