Angry Stupid People!!!!!???

Well Im came home from work today to see my neighbor piling about 4 or 5 old sofas, chairs etc on top of a old pile of pressure treated lumber trash and who knows what else. About a hour later huge billows of smoke are coming form next door and Im like WTF This guy is renting this place out to this wanna be rice racer and this is how they clean up? I am so pissed because I cant get anyone at the local fire dept on the phone about this. There are little kids that ride up and down the road breathing this crap in and no one on a government level seems to care. Of course Im the lucky SOB that gets to live next to this and Im not the person to start telling people how to keep there yards and such but this is ridiculous

That's not illegal?

If it isn't you must have the right to go an call him a jackass or point a gun at him or something.
I know you can do all of that in the boonies around here.

some people are jsut idiots, just live in knowing that kind of idiocy rarely goes unnoticed and someday the worng person will get pissed and youll find em in a ditch somewhere.

it does make you look all that much better by comparison though... the best way to look better is to keep the jerks around to compare with

Until they rob you blind and break your stuff.

Some asshat has been randomly firing off some loud device remiscent of a firearm over here lately, and I'm not even in the boonies.
I am somewhat reluctant to even look out my window for fear of getting shot in the face.

I haven't been like this since Detroit.

A neighbor of mine had just such a bonfire in the rain Sunday night. Vinyl siding, furniture, lumber scraps. Probably used old motor oil and a scrapped tire or two to light it off. (My son-in-law's trick.) In the Southern Appalachians, folks will burn ANYTHING to keep from having to haul it to the dump and pay for proper disposal.

Or they'll dump it on some back road to save a couple of bucks.

Burning much of anything is illegal around here. And with state cops driving by everyday, no one's willing to try anything too stupid.
