Changing it regularly is the best option.....
 But seriously just make sure its quality and mad for the limited slip diff and yes there is other CRAP out there and as always Ill recommend Vavoline products.

The limited slip mechanism in the SVX diff never sees the gear oil.

How so the diff is filled to about half way is it not? and the limited slip is in the middle of everything so at least half of it should be seing gear lube at any given time

The mechanism is sealed, and the LSD plates are in a different fluid.
