BiModal Distribution

Cool term that I learned today.

What does it have to do with the SVX?

I'm convinced now more than ever that there are two types of people that drive the SVX.

1 - US: The cool and friendly people.

2 - THEM: The people that DON'T look or hardly acknowledge that you're drive the same wonderful, UNIQUE, car.

Yes, I had another sighting last night. Rare for me. A maroon (I can't spell bore-doe) in nice condition with NH plates.

The last three I've seen where drivin by old ladies (no kidding) so I was loosing all hope. Then I see this guy, young to middle aged, male. I figured he at least return my wave as I let him lead me down Rt. 2 to home.

I saw him in my rear-view a few cars back so I moved over the slow lane to let him catch up.

Why do I waste my time.....? I'm I THAT lonely?

Lemme see if I can drag this one out of my memory banks. I used to produce a "Magazine on Cassette" called "Transportation Digest" for the Logistics/Transportation industry. BiModal, in that context, meant that people might ship by Rail/Air, Ship/Rail, Truck/Rail . . . etc. I'll bet there are differental "BiModels" for different industries.

Ah, do you work in transportation? We do the annual convention for Atlas Van Lines and also for AMSA (American Moving and Storage Association).

No. Remember I'm the engineer.

I volunteer in an environmental group and we got a grant from this IceTea Act. We haven't seen any money though for five years thanks to the BIG DIG.

Us and....and....THEM!

<1 - US: The cool and friendly people.

2 - THEM: The people that DON'T look or hardly acknowledge that you're drive the same
wonderful, UNIQUE, car.>

The "us's" are already members of a club.
The "them's" is everyone else.....

All the SVX's I have ever seen on the highway, (let me see....two...no, THREE!) are all THEM.

"Them's" look at you when you flash your headlights like... "I don't see a deer!" and when you wave?... "Do I know him from somewhere?" ....you can't win.
Don

Ya I forgot that

The "US" is the SVX World Network. That's what got me started thinking about posting this thread and I see I forgot to say that.

'dems' duh people that do not wish to participate in this lunacy.

I'm going out there again now.... in a desprate(sp) search for another "US"

chow....

Looking for another....US.

<'m going out there again now.... in a desprate(sp) search for another "US">

If he or she is driving one that is bright yellow, has a lime green biplane wing grafted to the back, 'roo bars in the front, has a lift kit ONLY on the back, moon caps, laker pipes, a pro-stock hood scoop, a lip spoiler that scrapes gum off the highway, the split windows outlined in neon rope, and a license plate frame that says "My other car is a Yugo"....

....for Aredub's sake anyway...LET UM BE!!!!!!!

Don

Not under ANY circumstances. I'm still shuddering at the initial thought. Now, I'm feeling all icky. See what you've done?

For fast relief...

< See what you've done? >

No problem. Just click on the Italdesign website. A little "Giugiaro" fix will take care of those nasty images in your head...

....well, it's either that or the Playboy Channel, but Shari might hit you if you go there! Don

A) I fear if I go to the Italdesign site I'll land on the "Panda" by accident, therefore making me feel icky again.

B) The is no *MIGHT* about it. She *WOULD* hit me . . . or worse!

It's too late Bill. After visualizing my visuals, Randy's already got a frog in his throat...
