Given that you're still running 0 deg of toe - front and back - I really question the tech's statement that going to negative camber alone is going to take the understeer out.
Harry is right to keep a close eye on your front tires - my ES100s are getting a nice "rounded" inner edge with the -1.5 front and back - and I've got a couple of thousand miles on them with this alignment set up.
You might try upping the front tire pressure to around 50 psi just to see the effect on understeer (just make sure to bring the pressure down after you've felt what it does).
The car can be made to be much more neutral - it just take the right optional OEM pieces

Thanks Bill. The tech gave me the alignment sheet at the end which had the stated settings at each wheel. There's absolutely no toe front & rear on my car right now.

I plan on monitoring the way my tires wear - good advice on playing with the tire pressures.

I’ve been running -1.9* at the front and -1.5* rear on my other (non-SVX) car for about 5k miles. So far, the tire wear on the inside has been fine. And I run with 1/16” toe in. Amazing what a difference a good set of performance rubber and a good alignment make. Once I get the new suspension on the SVX, I’ll give ‘er a proper sporting alignment.

My $122 alignment...

...came with a warranty, which allows me to go back and have them adjust the settings free of charge within a 6 month period. As I want my current summer tires to last a little while, I went back this morning to have my alignment settings adjusted. My current set-up is now:

Caster: factory
Toe: '0' front & rear
Camber: -0.5* on both front wheels, -0.2* on both rear wheels
