We're 13-1....clinched home field advantage again. There are two more weeks left of the NFL season both games of which are absolutley meaningless to the outcome of our regular season. And BTW its only a sprained ankle . He'll probably sit for 2 weeks and rest or get shuffled in and out of the line up,

Dallas could have won that game. That would have been sweet. I still think they'll choke somehow. And if they make it to the Super Bowl, they better hope it's not Pittsburgh or Nw England because they will lose.

Home field advantage is huge for the Eagles. In the last 3 title games they lost because we had no recievers. Now we have TO and we have Jevon Kearse on defense. Lincoln Financial Field will be as loud as ever whe the divisional playoffs start in January. Also the NFC has never been more weak....Eagles should coast right through the playoffs. Interesting to see what happens in the AFC.

Yeah, I was encouraged by the Eagles' lackluster performance in that game, and now I'm convinced that Mr. Vick and the Falcons can take 'em.

Just remember all you Eagles fans out there. The Steelers whipped your butts once already. I really don't think that TO will have much to do with the title game. Reid has to overcome his tendency to become too conservative once the playoffs come around. The Eagles are the weekest 13-1 team out there not because of lack of talent but the conservative nature of the play calling coupled with a coach that doesn't play on the emotions of his team.

That said, Andy is still a top notch coach. How many other teams have made it to the conference chapionship that many years in a row (win or loose).

Dallas went 4 years in a row (92,93,94, & 95) and won 3 of them and then won those 3 Super Bowls (92, 93, & 95). One season a franchise don't make.

TO wont make a difference in the title game?! Ok we blowwww out everyone since we got TO. Bob have you looked at the NFC? No team in the NFC stands a chance against this team. No, not even mike vick and his falcons.

They looked good early, but have you seen the last 2 games? Washington and Dallas aren't what they used to be, and both could have won. Cleveland, which is just plain bad, really should have won as well. Look around before you make blanket statements like blew everyone out. Yes the NFC is very weak, hence the 13-1 Eagles. These aren't the '92 Cowboys, '85 Bears, '94 49'ers, etc.

. Case in point. What was that lead a rookie quarterback without the number 1 runner at his side did to the Eagles? You're right about Atlanta. I just don't think they quite got what it takes to go to Philly and win but you never know. Andy Reid might just decide it is time to run the ball 35 times that game and Westbrook just isn't up to that task IMO. He gets great yards but he isn't a feature back that can pound a team into submission and hold the ball out of the opponents hands.

Still I'll root for 'em to make it so we can have an all PA superbowl. At least I'll be able to watch the Steelers in that game since the NFL seems to think central PA is Ravens country .

Atlanta can't beat philly. Only Philly can beat Philly. No one beat the Eagles in the past NFC championship games, the Eagles beat themselves. There's a difference between getting beat and losing. Look at the two Philly vs. Dallas games this year:

Game 1: Dallas 'LOST' - they played poorly against a very strong team, did nothing to get any kind of advantage, and blew every opportunity that was given to them.

Game 2: Dallas 'GOT BEAT' - they played really well, took advantage of just about every opportunity and used some great tricks to get ahead. They simply were outdone by the Eagles who were not even at 100%.

New England will lose to the Eagles if they show up. Pittsburgh has a shot, but in truth it all depends on the Eagles themselves, not who they play. So in other words, there's no team in the NFL that can stop the Eagles except for the Eagles.

Eagles NFC try #1: They LOST to the Rams, who outplayed them in every facet.
Eagles NFC try #2: They LOST to a Bucs team that dominated them the entire second half. Yes Philly kept it close because the Bucs didn't have much of an offense. They ended up kicking FG's. But Philly lost the game.
Eagle NFC try #3: You kidding? Carolina pushed the Eagles around. Many people called it the worst loss of them all. Put the "the only people who can beat the Eagles are the Eagles" crap away. They are not a great team. They are a good one, when the rest of the confrence is horrible. You honestly think this team is better then the '92 Cowboys? The '94 49'ers? Please. Pittsburg and New England are better TEAMS then the Eagles. So are the Colts, at least on one side of the ball. Philly should be lucky the Steelers are in the AFC. And remember Atlanta almost snuck by Philly last year. A couple of key plays and Atlanta COULD win. Not saying they will, but anything can happen in the playoffs.
