Question Cruise control

Hi,

I've just got my SVX back from the garage, because of an electrical problem (it was the tempurature sensor - replaced and now it runs fine). However now my cruise control isn't working.

When I activate it I can hear the solenoid engaging/disengaging from under the dash/bonnet, but the throttle doesn't engage.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? If it's simple, I'd like to fix it myself instead of dragging all the way over to the dealership (1 1/2 hours drive from home).

The car is a '93 MY UK spec.

Thanks,

Jason

Jason,

There is a vaccume hose that connects in the engine bay. See if that is leaking or disconnected. If you can hear the sol clicking, I'd check the vaccume hose next.

Thanks Seraph,

I had a look this morning and found that the hose was disconnected. I re-connected it and hey presto I wafted to work at 95, with no feet on the pedals!
