...Then I have to put a picture of my Busa in my locker. I'm a big Star Trek fan, the paint scheme on my bike is that of a Borg ship. The effect is that the bike was moving so fast that the paint peeled back revealing it's true Borg nature.

The Busa has been modified both internally and externally. Internals include several performance upgrades and externals include lights-out blackout switches and polished pieces.

Jefferson Ave. is to my extreme South. Jefferson is the southern most major street in Detroit. I'm up near Redford/Southfield.

The Busa sounds pretty sweet. Has been one of my favs for quite a while... next to the Triumph 955i. I'd like to see the pics. Have you ever thought about putting on a turbo?

I'm pretty sure that no one here has the DECAH hinges on their SVX... or knows who owns the 1 SVX that we have seen pictures of with it done. We actually had a member working on making Lambo hinges... had done them previously for other cars. Not sure if he is still working on them, however.

As far as performance work on the SVX, the TT project is not at the top of Stevesby's priority list currently and may be quite a while if it gets done. Porter was going to go the supercharger route, but I believe has pretty much given up on that idea for now. However, SVXtasy is currently working on a new single turbo project slated to be complete by the end of the month if all goes well... he is keeping us updated with the progress and it is looking promising. The stock injectors can realize more than 250 hp but not a whole lot. Also, nothing has actually proven very effective for improving performance except the 5 speed swap and nitrous. Intake and exhaust has yielded a tiny bit, and everything else has (standard bolt-ons) proved to be basically worthless. Best 1/4 ET's I've seen have been mid to low 15's. Although nitrous and nitrous+5 speed should prove to be significantly better... just haven't seen any timeslips.

Oh, and welcome to the club. Most of us here like to be unique (it usually seems)... hence the SVX enthusiasm.
