K & B spring rates
anyone know the spring rates of the k&b springs that dayle has???do the struts and springs that dayle sells require any welding or special modifications like the koni/gc??just curious..thanks for any help

Not sure but I think they are about just like the Ground Controls... Yea, they will probably require welding unless you can find a company that makes kits with K&B springs....

That's the setup that I've herd the most about... I'm trying to be a lone ranger though and am still hunting down Aragosta.... I'm gonna get what I want from them!!!!

The K&B don't require any cutting or welding... they are a direct replacement for the stock springs.
The Ground Control kit is using a universal fit spring, that's why you have to cut/weld the strut housing, and it must be used with Koni struts. The K&B can be used with the stock struts just fine... so the K&B is a much cheaper alternative. A full Ground Control / Koni setup will run you about $1000 just for the parts.

so what if one was to get the k&b springs and then koni struts would that be a decent upgrade or no???not feasible???thanks for any help

I have the Koni struts and K&B springs and it was a great upgrade. It lowers the car and it corner far better than when it was stock.

As the other people said, they are a drop-in replacement for the stock springs and will work fine with the stock struts.
