cigarette trim piece repair Q:
Hi, my cigarette trim piece broke, the 2 screws that a hold it in place the plastic broke off.
i think in order to take it off you need to remove the radio and even then the screws are nearly impossible to reach unless you remove the entire dash. has anyone ever replace this? i think i might end up super glueing it back on. |

Re: cigarette trim piece repair Q:
Your theory is correct. It is screwed into the dash BEFORE the dash is installed into the car at the factory. You need fingers like cocktail sticks to replace it. Go with the super glue method.

Yea, pretty much impossible to get at those screws. I humbly recommend this stuff: http://www.amazon.com/Loctite-136586.../dp/B0044F9KFI
